Club competition overview
The Southport Indoor Pistol Club runs a number of supervised competitions - one almost every night of the week! Whilst these competitions frequently offer monthly or yearly prizes, their main intent is to provide you with the opportunity to meet your fellow club members and have fun, as well as allowing members who are still in the process of getting their firearms licenses to shoot with one-on-one supervision. The following is a brief listing of the current nightly competitions - please click on the night you are interested in to learn more. Monday - Introductory rimfire competition. * Tuesday - Members club night. Varied competition and food afterwards. Wednesday - Juniors night: 12 and up and bring a guardian. * Thursday - I.P.S.C. night - for advanced shooters wanting to extend their sport. Friday - Single action and air pistol competitions. Saturday - Small-bore rifle night, scoped or non-scoped. * All nightly competitions have a nominal start time of 6 pm and a $5 entry fee for members (plus ammunition, if needed).
